Important Characters
This is the important Characters page, this page provides several important characters that are involved in "the Adventures of Ulysses". This page also has a very brief overview of the character and how they are involved in the story.
Ulysses
Ulysses is the main character of the story. He started out as the captain of about 150 men and three crews. He is bold, strong but also makes many unforgivable mistakes.
Poseidon
Poseidon is the god of the sea, and his son Aeolus is the god of winds. Poseidon dislikes Ulysses throughout the whole story and will never let him make it home to Ithaca.
Aeolus
Aeolus is the son of Poseidon and the god of winds.
Eurylochus
Eurylochus is the strongest man out of Ulysses three crews. He is like a co-captain to Ulysses, and Ulysses relies on him for some very dangerous journeys.
Penelope
Penelope is the wife of Ulysses.
Telemachus
Telemachus is the son of Ulysses, he lives back in Ithaca with his mother.
Titans
The Titans are the older side of the gods and or goddesses.
Circe
Circe lives alone on an island and she is a beautiful sorcerer. She and Ulysses fell in love until Ulysses remembered his family back in Ithaca.
Polyphemus
Polyphemus is a son of Poseidon, who is the largest and strongest Cyclops.
Charybdis
Charybdis is the daughter of Poseidon and was a beautiful Naiad, until she helped her father against Zues and so Zues turned her into a monster that drinks the sea and spits it back out.
Scylla
Scylla is a beautiful Naiad and she made Poseidon fall in love with her. But when Poseidon's wife became jealous she cast a spell on her that turned her into a spider monster that ate humans.
Calypso
Calypso is a titan and she kept Ulysses hostage on her island fro a while because she was in love with him.
Atlas
Atlas is the father of Calypso.
Ino
Ino is a very beautiful naiad that saved Ulysses when Poseidon almost drowned him.
Emaeus
Emaeus is a friend of Ulysses, that has lives on Ithaca.
